Hood Mastermind exists to help people grow.
This is a place to set meaningful goals, build better habits, receive honest accountability, and surround yourself with people who genuinely want to see you succeed.
Every feature in Hood Mastermind, from groups and accountabilities to Hot Seats and meetings, depends on one thing: trust.
These Community Guidelines explain what we expect from every member. By using Hood Mastermind, you agree to follow them. They work alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Why We’re Here
We’re here to help each other become better.
That means:
- Tell the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable.
- Encourage growth, not perfection.
- Challenge ideas without attacking people.
- Celebrate progress.
- Respect vulnerability.
- Leave people better than you found them.
If your goal is to win arguments, embarrass people, troll, manipulate, or inflate your ego, Hood Mastermind probably isn’t the right place for you.
2. Accountability Is Not Judgment
Accountability is the heart of Hood Mastermind.
A good accountability:
- focuses on behavior, not character;
- is honest without being cruel;
- is specific instead of vague;
- helps someone improve instead of making them feel smaller.
Don’t weaponize accountability.
Don’t create retaliatory accountabilities.
Don’t intentionally shame people.
The goal is growth, not punishment.
3. Respect Privacy
People share things here they may never tell anyone else.
Protect that trust.
Unless everyone involved has given permission, do not:
- record meetings;
- record Hot Seats;
- take screenshots of private conversations;
- repost another member’s content;
- share another person’s story outside Hood Mastermind.
Respecting privacy is one of the fastest ways to earn trust.
Breaking it is one of the fastest ways to lose it.

- let others finish speaking;
- disagree respectfully;
- listen as much as you speak;
- avoid dominating conversations;
- never record meetings without everyone’s consent.
Remember:
The purpose of a Hot Seat is clarity, not humiliation.
7. Report Problems
If something doesn’t feel right, report it.
You can report:
- members;

- comments;
- accountabilities;
- meetings; or
- other content directly within the app.

Depending on the severity of a violation, we may:
- remove content;
- issue a warning;
- restrict certain features;
- suspend an account;
- permanently remove an account; or
- report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities.
Some violations, particularly those involving child safety, credible threats, or serious criminal activity, may result in immediate permanent removal without warning.
9. Appeals
If you believe we’ve made a mistake, contact us at support@hoodmastermind.com within 30 days.
We’ll review your appeal as fairly and thoroughly as we can.
10. Updates

Continued use of Hood Mastermind means you accept the updated Guidelines.
